I’m a California girl through and through. Born in San Jose, I now reside in the Santa Cruz mountains with my partner in crime, um I mean life, Joe.
I am a Certified Massage Therapist and Herbalist with a private practice in Los Gatos, CA. My passion spirals around the healing arts, spirituality and music. I would say that I have a deep Spiritual practice and am by no means religious. It’s exciting for me to be starting the second half of my life, and at 50 years old I believe the best is just beginning. I love the term Emerging Crone, found on another blog-site, which happens to be fabulous, and I would love to claim that for myself, however being not quite there yet, I claim the Queen as my rightful stage of life. No longer in the Mother aspect, though still creative; and not old nor nearly wise enough to be a Crone. Yes, I feel that Queenly energy quite nicely, thank you very much, and have the tiara to go along with it!
I belong to the Sisterhood of the Silver Branch, an organization of women based in the spirituality of the Divine Feminine principal. Asherah is the Goddess of my ancestral foremothers and it is She that called me to Her service; and to whom I dedicated my life’s work, whether it be the healing arts, giving voice to my spirit through song or prayer (aren’t they the same?), or any other way in which I may be called.
